Known As: Chrysanthemum, Pot Mum, Spider Mum
Latin Name: Dendranthema x grandiflorum
Description: Comes in a variety of colors including yellow,
white, pink and purple. May be grown outside in the garden or as
an indoor potted plant. Aromatic, perennial herbs; leaves pinnately
lobed and toothed; flower head with many peripheral petals of various shapes
and colors.
Poisonous Parts: All parts.
Symptoms: Contact dermatitis. May have rash of skin or mucous
membranes. Rash after contact with the skin or mouth. Vomiting, drooling,
diarrhea, abdominal pain, cramps, swelling around the mouth, difficulty
breathing. May cause tremors, heart and respiratory and/or kidney
problems which are difficult for an owner to detect.
