Known as:  Death Camas, Foothill Deathcamas, Sandcorn
Latin Name:  Zigadenus paniculatus (Liliaceae)
Description: Grows up to 3 feet in height.  Flower spike is a tall, erect stem rising from a cluster of leaves at the base.  Star-like white flowers with green centers are clustered on the stem.  (Regular Camas has blue flowers.)
Poisonous Parts:  Bulb, root.  Plant contains alkaloid toxins.
Symptoms: Cardiovascular irregularities.
