Description:
Symptoms: Vomiting, drooling, diarrhea, abdominal pain, cramps, swelling around the mouth, difficulty breathing.  May cause tremors, heart and respiratory and/or kidney problems which are difficult for an owner to detect.
Treatment: Unless your cat is unconscious or having convulsions, induce vomiting.  Get immediate veterinary assistance.

The asparagus fern has cascading branchlets with narrow, needlelike leaves.  Sparse white spring flowers may produce red fall berries. Often used as ground cover or foundation plant.  Erect, perennial herb or somewhat woody, branches gracefully arching and fern-like; leaves alternate and scale-like, terminal branchlets very narrow, flat, needle-like, in clusters of 3; flowers axillary, drooping, 6-parted, bell-shaped, yellow-green; fruit a bright red berry.
