 Many thanks to Sarah Hartwell for scanning and sharing her issues of Cats Magazine. This area will continue to grow as we both add more from our collections -- we also welcome contributions from anyone who has some of the issues we are missing.

Charles Kenney established Cats Magazine in 1945. It was purchased by the publishers of Cat Fancy and finally ceased publication in August of 2001. It was a key public periodical i the years it was published and the contents are still of interest to cat fanciers everywhere.

Lady Marcus Beresford

Lady Marcus Beresford founded The Cat Club of England in 1898. She was also a patron of The Beresford Cat Club of America which was named after her. She actively bred and showed cats under the Ballochmyle cattery name.
