Lyra comes to us from our friends Ariel Bartelmes & Kate Lucas of Sereshka cattery in Seattle. Amanda flew to Seattle to get Lyra and bring her home at the beginning of 2020. She was an angel on the flight and captured the heart of the Customs Officer who allowed her into Canada.

Lyra is fascinated by light -- its patterns and shadows -- and chases it often. She also takes her role as guardian of our house to heart trying to chase birds and leaves that fly past the windows. She also hunts snowflakes! Lyra adores sparkly toys leaping and chasing them like a kitten. She is a very intelligent young lady and knows how to open cupboards using her 2 front paws like hands to open them.

She has a light, thick coat and lovely green eye color along with large ears. Like all Sereshka cats she has a wonderful straight profile, refined boning and beautiful angularity to the planes of her head.
