Sapphire was a jewel from the minute she was born. And as she grew, her promise and personality for the show ring could not be denied. A friend had asked me for a cat to show in the Alter class and this girl certainly seemed to be the one. We talked and decided this precious girl would go to live in Colorado. And then we had to come up with a name for her. We decided on Sapphire On Ice to reflect the girls who had been the jewels of my breeding program and Ice to reflect the northern environment. This shining jewel went to her first show on a plane with me. Visitors came to our room to see the new star and then she went to her new owner as I was judging. More toys and more people. She took a big show in stride and was photographed for the newspapers in Edmonton. She went on to achieve top wins in all 3 divisions and delivered on her star potential. Awards TICA Best
