Auto-racing is another of our passions and so it was inevitable that we would name a cat related to car-racing.  Silverstone is a famous track in England and seemed very fitting for this elegant boy.   His coat shone like silver and he had a long elegant body that was as hard as a rock.

We showed Silverstone in both CFA and TICA.  Each year CFA has a large formal show where the Best of Breed winners are presented to the audience by judges in evening dress.  Stoney and I flew to Houston for this show.  He made two high finals as well as taking several Best of Breed awards with the end result that he was the Best of Breed Russian Blue Alter and participated in the presentation at the end of the show.
